New PAC Executive Board Chosen
Please join me in congratulating and thnking the following DAP parents for stepping up to fill the oen positions within the PAC Executive Board.

President: Valerie Wells, mom to 11-year-old Jordon
Vice President: Donna O'Neill, mom to 8-year-old Joseph
Secretary: Cortney Mehalchick, mom to 7-year-old Ethan
Treasurer (maintained position): Colleen Grier, mom to 5-year-old Conor

DAP Turns 30!
It's hard to believe that it was nearly 30 years ago that parents just like you and I stood as one and fought for services for their autistic children.  That's when the DAP was born.

In 2009, the DAP will turn 30!  The PAC is putting together a committee to  plan some celebratory events to mark the occasion.  If you are interested in participating, complete the volunteer form by clicking the "Volunteer" link to the left of this page.

Box Tops News!

The champion Box Top Collector for the '07/'08 school year was Josh Delaney with more than 1200 Box Tops collected! 
Josh's mom, Robin has graciously accepted the position of PAC's new Box Tops Coordinator.  She will run the contst for next year and collect all submissions.
Thanks Robin!!

Box Tops can be submitted year-round.  Send them in to school with your child in an envelope or baggie marked with his/her name and the number of Box Tops enclosed.

Ink Cartridge Recycling
It's a Good Thing!!

Please continue ending in your empty ink cartridges (laser & ink jet).  This has proven to be our #1 "No Bu/No Sel" fundraiser for PAC earning us over $1000 last year.  Going forward, thi money will be earmarked for the Reinforcer Store that is slated to open at the Brennen School (all DAP sites will have access) dring the '08/'09 School Year.

6th- Last Student Day
16th- Teacher In-Service NO SCHOOL
17th- 1st Day Summer Session
20th,27th - Friday in-school Respite*

July:
3rd- No School
4th -NO IN-SCHOOL RESPITE
11th,1th,25th - Frida In-School Respite*

August:
1st - Friday In-School Respite*
6th- Last Student Day
7th,8th - NO SCHOOL NO IN-SCHOOL RESPITE
25th - 1st Day School '08/'09 SY

*Fridy In-School respite must have been signed up for prior to summer session beginning.  To inquire about any open spots,please contact Assistant Principal, Norma Brister at 454-2202.
